About ISF
(International Shoe and leathergoods Fair)
ISF reach the 36th International Shoe and leather goods fair by this time.
ISF has started from 1990, and it has kept expanding a scale step by step.
Now, ISF is recognized the biggest international shoe exhibition in Japan.
Many of countries, such as Germany put emphasis on the shoe market, participate
in ISF to expand their business in Japanese shoe market. It shows ISF keeps
high attention from the shoe industries worldwide.
ISF has been keeping growing. On the other hand the number of other shoe fair reduced. In ISF, almost of all buyers belongs to famous shoe shops, department stores and wholesales visit ISF to buy new products.
Also we hold business seminars and special events for visitors, buyers
shoe market and arranged they can collect a lot of information in related
with shoe and fashion business.
About the last report
160 companies (83 Japanese companies and 77 overseas companies) participated ISF, and 37 companies participated Japan Shoe Expo. Overseas group exhibitors were from Germany, Brazil, Taiwan, South Korea, China and Turkey. It was the first time for Turkey to participate. Individual companies from Hong Kong, Vietnam, Laos, the Philippines, Singapore and Sri Lanka also participated. The ratio of the overseas exhibitors was 48%, which was the highest ever in the history of ISF. It suggests that the globalization of business has progressed furthermore. The number of exhibitors for the Shoe Expo was 37 companies. Total 5,226 people visited during three days of the exhibitions. |
